This is a great public library in Downers Grove. The parking lot is right downtown and always has spots available even though it’s next to the train station. There are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of selections of books and you can find all sorts of music and different types of media here. The librarians are extremely kind and the vibe is what you would typically expect from the library. It is nice and quiet to do study work and there is plenty of meeting rooms to collaborate with a group. I enjoy coming here every so often for various types of reasons. It is very comparable to other public library‘s in the area in terms of how much you can find in the place. If you’re looking to study or find some good books this is the place to be.

I really like the library. Me any my friends would work on out school projects together there. If you need a place to meet with other people to work I highly recommend the library. Just make sure to reserve the room you need beforehand.

WOW! great service here and selection! i called in asking about a book and not only did the lovely lady on the second floor help me out tremendously, she was super kind and nice too!

Friendly and helpful. Always willing to give ideas and assistance. One of the best libraries I have been to. Family friendly. In downtown Downers Grove.

One of the best libraries I've seen in a while. Very spacious, friendly people, pretty quite, decent location and mediocre parking space around the building and has good amount of resources.

I reserve books, videos and music from the library website. They text me when it is ready. I pick them up right next to the self checkout.

We love the DG Public Library so much! What an incredible resource for this community. They provide such a fantastic selection of books, activities, and community resources. My kids absolutely love the programming at the Library including story time, activities in the kids room, and scavenger hunts. My kids believe that going to the Library is something to really look forward to and they can’t wait to go every week. It’s wonderful to see that the Library caters to all people in the community from kids, to job seekers, to teens, to seniors etc. We are SO thankful for the tireless efforts of the librarians, volunteers, and the Library Board to make this such a special place for all people and to remain curious and innovative. We can’t say enough good things!

I spent a wonderful, engaging morning at the DGPL with my 2 grandchildren! Everyone is so welcoming & kind to the little ones; the facility has so much to offer! The Kids' Room is amazing & filled with numerous, colorful, interactive activities! On this morning there was a special "drop-in" Play-Doh creative room with plenty of play-doh & tools for the kids & the adults at work stations nicely spread out. We will be back; my grandkids love it here!
